UL Listed and CSA Approved HEPA Air Filter This HEPA portable air cleaner uses HEPA filtration as part of a three stage air filter system. The three stage air filtration includes a pre-filter, a HEPA filter and a post filter. Sturdy 24 gauge cold rolled steel case powder coated baked enamel finish in white, black or sandstone. Variable speed German motor with 5 year warranty. Reduce dust, pollen and other allergens in medium sized rooms. HEPA is a filtration standard established by the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission. Americair manufactures its own Amaircare(R) brand HEPA filters. Filament is bonded to air filter media for structural support and even pleat spacing. After pleating, filters are enclosed in protective screens and cast in food-grade plastisol at both ends for a 100% air seal. Each Amaircare HEPA filter is then tested for 99.97% efficiency, with a laser particle counter. Save on shipping: buy an additional year of replacement filters when you buy your air cleaner.
