Bass Masters 2000 for Nintendo 64

For those who enjoy the lure of fishing but can't stand the early hours, Bassmasters 2000 offers the realism, detailed graphics, and inevitable fun one expects from a fishing simulation game endorsed by B.A.S.S. (Bass Anglers Sportsman Society). Bassmasters 2000 takes virtual anglers to highly detailed re-creations of the same lakes that are on the Bassmaster tournament circuit. Presented in a television-style format, the game features angling legends Shaw Grigsby and Roland Martin providing up-to-the-moment commentary and expert advice. Off the lake, players can visit a virtual tackle shop to upgrade bait and equipment, and the create-an-angler mode lets players choose a distinct personality. A split-screen, two-player mode offers a witness to confirm or deny that inevitable tale about the big one that got away.

A Fishing show where you get to fish instead of watching.

Pros Lots of options and Lure Cam
Cons Only two lakes to choose from.
Recommended it? Yes

This is a pretty good fishing game. You know how you flip through cable channels for an hour and nothing is on, then you hit that fishing show and you cant help but stop and watch for awhile. Well this is that fishing show only you get to fish instead of watching.

Pros Hours of fun; None of the work of "real" fishing
Cons Music can get a little annoying after a while

Well, what more can you ask for? All the fun of fishing without having to get up before sunrise, get your hands dirty, worry about running your boat into the rocks, have a care in the world about weather conditions, and whether or not you can find any fish. Pros Great multi level action..

B.A.S.S. members and all fishing fans can get all the action, even when you can't get to the lake. With the help of many of the nationally recognized BASS pros, THQ has come up with a winner. The lakes are models of three of the actual lakes on the BASS tournament trail.
