Above average for the money!
While this camcorder is since considered "outdated" it still has tons more features then a lot of todays budget camcorders. The video quality is so-so and if you don't mind messing with DV tapes, you have a really good camcorder!

Nice looking but mediocre performance
I bought this from bestbuy when it first came out and before it was even on display.
It is compact and clean and looks nice with a widescreen lcd screen.
