Cisco FastHub 400 Series 24 Port 10/100 Hub, WS-C424M The Cisco FastHub 400 10/100 series of high-performance Fast Ethernet repeaters delivers unmatched flexibility and low-cost managed connectivity to the desktop. The FastHub 424M provides ultra low-cost 10/100 autosensing desktop connectivity where dedicated bandwidth is not required. The FastHub 400 10/100 series will be deployed as a high-performance solution for providing 10/100 Fast Ethernet connectivity to the desktop and will also be deployed to create a high-performance 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN in a workgroup environment. The FastHub 400 10/100 switch uplink modules will provide connectivity to a Wide Area Network (WAN) router. And, as workgroup size grows, the FastHub 424M can scale in several ways, including stacking via the integrated stacking connectors, creating multiple switched hub segments with the uplink modules, or using the Class II repeater design to daisy chain hubs together.
