Fedders SFPEB08F2A 7500 BTU Portable Air Conditioner

I bought this portable A/C less than two months ago. First, it made a lot of fan noise and the compressor actually seemed to malfunction the very first day. As time went on, it became noisier and cooled less and less. Unfortunately, I did not get it back to HomeDepot within the 30 day return period and was forced to get it repaired. Some five days later, the unit was returned. But the cooling was only modestly better, the fan noise returned, and within a few hours, the cooling unit quit entirely, leaving only the fan running. What a piece of junk. Note that this unit is also sold under the Maytag brand name. Recommend you buy something else.
