Hot Coffee - no breakable parts
In general, I prefer thermos coffeemakers as they are on only for the brew cycle; the danger of leaving your coffeepot on is over. Looking at this unit in the store it seemed to be a great idea and when it gets cold in northern Illinois having the thermal cups to take outside was a bonus.
