Decent DVD Camcorder

Amazing quality at a low price!
There is really only one reason not to buy this camera; it doesn't have a USB connection. However, it's the only cheap DVD camera that can record on erasable DVDs. I record everything onto one DVDRW, rip it to my hard drive, and then erase the DVD. That means I only had to buy one DVD to do all the... Read full review »
DCR-DVD92 DVD Camcorder
We've had our little camcorder for I think nearly 2 years now. We chose this one because I like the name brand and it had a rebate. Not for everyone
If you plan to edit movies on your home computer, don't buy this camcorder. There is no way to get any digital video out, only analog. Very surprising for something this expensive. Sony Handycam DCR-DVD92 Camcorder is a Great Deal If You Shop Around.
I didn't have any problems taking this camcorder out of the box and using it with minimum use of the ENTIRE owner's manual. Worst Camcorder Ever
Poor recording quality, shaky picture if you move the camera while recording, cannot EDIT the video, poor still quality..the list goes on. Great Camcorder

A great little camcorder!
This Camcorder was kind of complicated for me to learn how to use at first. After a year, I still cannot figure out some of the features--but that's just me, I guess.
