Very Happy with this PC

Pros Lightscribe writer, Pentium D Processor, 1gig Ram, lots of connection ports.
Cons You can build something cheaper, but this is pure quality. Personal media drives are expensive.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you want a workhorse PC, and don't know how to build one, get this one!
I'll keep this short and simple. If you are on this website, you are either already a pro at smart shopping, and you will know if this computer has the features you need, OR you are just looking for that confirmation on whether or not to make the final purchase.

This Media Center PC is great. This is my third HP, I got it at a good price at Best Buy. I've already recommended it to other friends who are enjoying it as well.

First Impressions - Cool look. Nice case, and is very user friendly. Love the Lightscribe option. Happy to have USB 2.0, Firewire, and RCA inputs on the front. Personal Media Drive option is interesting, but I think the drives are a bit much right now. About twice as much what you would pay for hard drive.

Pentium D processor works great. Boots up fast.

I bought this computer, and added a dual monitor 256 Video Card, and I do professional video editing. I know... I could have saved maybe 200 bucks building it myself. Yeah, but I'd rather not have to deal with pirated software, and no support (1 Year warranty from HP should be all you'll need).

With everything I added, it runs great. I run both Ulead Media Studio Pro, Acid Pro 5.0, and Adobe Photoshop. Upped the memory to 3 Gigs (added 2 - 1 Gig sticks), and run about 4 external 500gig drives at any time. The 7 total USB 2.0 inputs are great!

Overall, I have been very happy with this PC. It's a workhorse, and I've been impressed with the Pentium D processor.
