I have to say this my first experience with a projection TV. Although I have seen many models and did some homework before committing to the Hitachi 51F500. I can say I am glad I bought this TV (www.uecweb.com, price $995.00!) WOW! What a picture! Especially if you are using the composite jacks from a progressive scan DVD the piture is bright, sharp and super clear. I can't wait to get my HDTV receiver hooked into this bad boy and really get blown away with true 1080i. It also has a great built in sound system. The integrated SRS and BBE systems pack a punch with both clearness and clarity for both music and tv sound.
Hands down, this the biggest value out there for your buck!
