I picked up my 51" about a week ago now. It was on sale for $1999 from $2499 and then I got another $400 off because it had a couple dings in it. The hardest part was getting it up the stairs, after that I am completely happy. The picture quality is amazing, everyone tells me Hitachi is 'the' name for flat screens, along with Sony. Whether it's watching a movie or playing playstation this TV is the best investment I've made thus far.
