The IQAir GC Series is a specialized line of advanced air cleaning systems that meets almost any contaminant removal need in residential, commercial and medical environments. Since different gaseous contaminants can only be effectively filtered with specialized gas phase media, IQAir GC Systems are available in a range of special configurations. Applications: Chemical Control of the following: Acetaldehyde, Acetylene, Arsine, Carbon dioxide, Ethylene, Formaldehyde, Hydrazine, Hydrogen cyanide, Hydrogen sulfide, Nitric Oxide, Nitrogen dioxide, Phosphine, Silane, Sulfur dioxide Particle Post-Filter Sleeves: Set of 4 - lasts up to 2 yrs Media Cartridges: Set of 4 - lasts up to 2 yrs Pre-Filter: replace every 6-18 months Customized Gas and Odor Control: The GC Chemisorber is compact and customized for specific gaseous contaminants and odors. Just like a professional gas mask, IQAir maximizes filter efficiency for different gases and odors by offering the right filter cartridge. And while gas and odor control is a particular strength of these systems, the GC Series also offers excellent filtration efficiency for particles. Gas Cartridge Technology: The IQAir GC Chemisorber uses four filter cartridges to hold up to 17 lbs. of gas phase media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact between the air and gas phase media, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high air flow rates. The cartridges are very user friendly and can be replaced in a matter of minutes. High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration: The GC gaseous filtration process is complemented by two particle filtration stages, one before and one after the gas phase cartridges. This increases the service life of the gas phase cartridges by preventing its pores from clogging. It also results in a total system filtration efficiency for particles of 99% at .3 microns.
