Good system

Pros Clean appearance, good sound, good price, 5 disc changer.
Cons Remote control could be better.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  A great small system. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
I purchased this unit to use in my room for occasional listening. Basically I wanted a great sounding, small stereo that sat quietly in the room and had as many features as I could get for the money. Most other stereos in this price range either sounded bad or had ridiculous industrial design with all kinds of flashing coloured lights. Of everything I saw, in a few different stores, this was by far the best deal. So I bought one and took it home.
The verdict: it really sounds great with plenty of bass response for this size of unit. I was more interested in good sound rather than loud sound, and it delivers without fail. The 5 disc changer is a good deal that you won't find on any unit with these features and at this price. Although I find the changer a little louder than it should be while it switches discs, but it does it fairly fast. The tape player has all the bells and whistles but I don't think I'll ever use it. The radio has decent reception with plenty of preset options. And audio input is a good idea for connecting up other things like a record player, or the audio out from the TV set as I did. With half a dozen preset equalizer settings and extra bass and treble boost, one will not be disappointed with the sound quality. Definitely a good investment there. This will do me until I swallow a couple thousand for a good Yamaha or Marantz system.
The downside: There isn't one really. If I had to say something it would be the design of the remote control. Its quite plain and all the buttons are the same shape and size. Its the only thing that looks a bit cheap. I will mention again the loud noise the CD player makes when it changes discs. Its a bit bothersome.
Other than that, I would say buy it. You just won't find a better sounding system, with this many features that even comes close to this price.
