The new Sony "P" series is SHARP
The Sony P70 series has been going 5 years or so, and has been a big success, but was there enough of an upgrade in the DSC-P73 from the DSC-P72? I'd say so. However there are some downgrades in order to keep the good price.

It's definitely 2004 when you can buy a 4-megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens that takes great pictures for just $300. Good Camera, Great Video
This is our second Sony digital camera. By today's standards, it is less than entry level (only 4M pixels), but it does have Sony's excellent video capabilities. It is very comfortable, small - but not too small, so even one with fairly large hands can operate it.

Don't use it if you have a baby
