IT COULD BE GOING ALL THE WAYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me put it down like this, SOUL CALIBER is the absolute pinnacle of fighting genre. As Mario and Sonic is to platformers is what Soul Caliber is to the fighting genre. Dare I say this is the best fighting game EVER MADE! (OK OK, I know I got to give Street Fighter 2 proper respect, but if you... Read full review »
Soul Calibur: Dreamcast Valedictorian
When the Sega Dreamcast first came out, I was skeptical. I really didn't see what it could do for me that my PC or N64 couldn't. (Keep in mind that this was two years ago. I was young and foolish then.) I didn't really see what the Dreamcast could do that would blow my socks off. Then I was... Read full review »
Soul Calibur... fast and furious
Soul Calibur is the best fighting game out for any console. Period. The character design is faultless, the animation is amazingly smooth and the gameplay is incredibly addictive.
With more moves and combos than is possible to learn, Soul Calibur takes fighting simulators to an entirely new...

Soul Calibur: The Final Frontier in Fighting Games
This game is the reason Namco needs to make more games for Dreamcast and one of the reasons to buy a Dreamcast.
Namco made a better than arcade conversion in every way. The controls are much better than in the Arcade and can be used by a 6 year old and up. Graphically it's the best on...

Yea, Its as good as you think.
Yep, as promised by Sega, Soul Calibur came across great. In fact, this may be one of the greatest arcade ports ever. The graphics have been improved two-fold, along with the framerates, which run at a butta-smooth 60 fps. There is a good 50-hours of gameplay you will have to put into this huge... Read full review »
Soul Calibur
In the weapons fighting Soul Calibur stands without competition. It succeeds in refining the concept of weapon combat to near perfection, but falls short of redefining the genre. Soul Calibur's greatest perfection is the multitude of attacks you can use on your opponents.
Soul Calibur use...

Soul Calibur: A moment to learn, a lifetime to master
Once, many moons ago, I wrote a poorly thought-out, uncomplimentary opinion of this truly remarkable game, Soul Calibur. I wrote that it looked pretty, but that it was too easy, and that the gameplay was simply hitting buttons.
I have since deleted that opinion. This game is simply the...

Best fighting game ever
Soul Calibur is Namco's latest 3D weapon-based fighting game, and the sequel to Soul Blade. The difference being amazing graphics and improved gameplay. This is one of Dreamcast's best so far with lots of fighters and a variety of weapons, it is a fast paced game. I got this game because my friend... Read full review »

There are not enough superlatives to describe Soul Calibur and there are not enough awesome things to compare it to to do justice with metaphor. Rarely does a game come along that is just...

Soul Calibur is the Best Fighter on Dreamcast. Ever? (A Tribute to Sega W/O)
Soul Calibur is the best fighting game on Dreamcast and maybe even the best that out of all fighting games ever created. This was one of the most anticipated games along with Sonic Adventure when the Dreamcast first came out back in 1999.
This game wasn't one of the most anticipated games...

Soul Calibur
Featuring graphics that surpass even the amazing NFL 2K, Soul Calibur is the martial arts fighting game to end all fighting games and the game to get if you're a Dreamcast owner. Based on the arcade classic of the same name, Soul Calibur lets you choose to represent one of 10 fighters in a series of battles against your peers. If you can successfully defeat all of your opponents, you will then face the fiendish Inferno in a final showdown that will determine the fate of the world. Each of the game's warriors is armed with a different deadly weapon--sword, ax, stave, nunchaku, you name it--and an assortment of special moves all tailored to that specific weapon. The warriors include men, women, and creatures from all over the globe and from various mythologies. Each is brought to life with amazing motion-capture animation, which results in incredibly lifelike and realistic duels. If you own a Dreamcast or are thinking of buying one, do yourself a favor and add Soul Calibur to your collection. --Mike Ryan Pros: Exceptionally lifelike graphics and animation Multiple game modes--1-player, 2-player, team, computer vs. computer, martial arts demo, and more Secrets and extra features will keep players coming back Cons: May be too violent for some parents
