I had a 2008 15" MBP and the new 2011 13" MBP was a nice surprise from the wife. I've looked at the 13/15" MBP's and really came to the determination when I upgraded that the 13" would be sufficient for my needs...and it has been.

Pros Fast processors, beautiful graphics and beautiful interface.
Cons Expensive, not too customisable for being a laptop and screen gets smudges easily.

I got my Macbook Pro two years ago and it stills runs great. Most windows computers are shot after 3 years. They start to slow down after about a year and then are condidered to be a dinorsaur after two years before completely crashing on you or running so slow to the point where it mine as well...
