Nook Tablet - 16GB I'm Hooked on My Nook!

Great hardware, terrible apps store
My wife and I picked up a couple of Nook Tablets at the end of November after taking a hard look at what Barnes & Nobles' competitors offered. Why'd we choose the Nook Tablet? Great ebook reader. Mediocre tablet
Synopsis: Good ebook reader. Mediocre tablet that is decent for media consumption but is limited at media creation. Limited Out-of-the-box functionality because it seems to have been designed to require third-party apps. Total Cost of Ownership is $400.

The Best Starter Tablet Out There
I love this machine. My parents bought it for me for Christmas to help me transition from PC to touch Tablet. As a lover of Barnes and Noble products, I was extremely happy to get this.

Internal Storage Hugely Misrepresented! It's a Lot Less!
They say Nook Tablet has 16GB internal memory. But of that memory 3GB reserved for system and software. Of the remaining 13GB -- 12GB allocated to content purchased from Barnes & Noble and only 1GB to user's content which came from third parties.
