5 Baby Items You Don't Want to Live Without

Realistically, all an infant needs is to be warm, dry, fed, and loved. However, there are a few items that are a necessity in my book.

Swaddle Me Blanket:
It's a whole new kind of frustration to put down a comfortably swaddled baby only to have the blanket come loose and the baby wake up yet again! This blanket is incredibly easy to use and stays put even while baby kicks and wiggles in his sleep.

Bright Starts Bouncer Chair:
It is such a relief to have somewhere safe to put baby down so you can get things done. It's also a bonus that this chair will keep her happy and entertained!

Infant Gas Relief Drops:
Brand doesn't matter here, but don't come home from the hospital without these! A gassy baby is so hard to calm down, but gas drops are a huge help in getting those air bubbles out.

Front & Back Carrier:
This is essential for those times when you just have to get some dishes or laundry done, but baby doesn't want to be put down. It will also come in handy as he grows for hiking or even shopping.

Looking for number 5?

This one is more of a suggestion than a product. Get at least one pack of diapers in each size-newborn to 3 or 4. That way when you start noticing more leaks or just wonder if the next size up might be better, you have one to try right away. Sometimes size 1 may fit, but it turns out size 2 actually fits better. You won't want to spend this week's diaper money on size 2 if you don't know for sure it really will fit better.

I chose Luv's because they are a great diaper at a reasonable price.
