Today I'm listing the 2SC2314 Driver Transistor that is used in Sideband CB radios and Cobra 29/Uniden 78's. When a radio was built with bigger finals, or repairing a SSB radio this was the matching driver transistor that was used. It is rated at 45 volt,1 amp, 5 watt. It replaced the 2SC1957 in the later radios. Here is the description from a datasheet; "The 2SC2314 is a Japanese NPN Silicon RF Power Driver Transistor designed for HF mobile Tranceiver power output driver applications. This is a full specification device, with very low leakage and good gain".
