Most of these questions are tough to answer. I haven't received any of my products yet and we are now on week 2. From the website, the products haven't even been shipped yet. I am guessing they are on back order, though this information wasn't communicated to me in any fashion. I have tried calling, but repeatedly get an automated operator message telling me that the merchant is not accepting calls. I have had communication via email in which I found out on Jan 5 that the product would ship in ten days. They have also been responsive to my need to change payment method. Given the amount of money I am saving, and the fact that I am not in a rush to receive the equipment, I am willing to wait. However, if I was in a hurry, I would think twice.

These guys were great! Although I wasn't sure if I did everything right when I placed the order through ebay, they were quick to confirm that my order was received, processed quickly and the items sent out on the day they promised. No problems and I am excited about doing business with them.

Acoustic Sound did not mention that he had no stock untill manufactuer would not respond for 8 days! Suspect he carries zero inventory. Finally he got the manufactuer to ship and it arrived promptly (7 business days) via UPS. No upgrade of procust or delivery was offered for long delay.

I had a pleasent experience and have already purchased another SACD since the last one. I do a lot of on line shopping and don't like to have any problems while doing so or it doesn't make it worth my while. I had no such problems with Acoustic Sounds. I received a confirmation the minute the purchase was made and the next day I could track the item until it arrived at my door.

read this review and you decide if you would shop here: after waiting nearly two weeks to receive a set of speakers, i was disappointed to find that the wrong item had been sent. i contacted mike embers by phone and he told me to send an email. i did so, and rightfully demanded expedited shipping for the correct item, since i had already waited two weeks. rather than work with me on this, his tone became generally nasty and we sent a few emails back and forth, and finally agreed to return the item for credit and i would be refunded. shipped back the incorrect item, received by them 8/25 (confirmed by ups), and now have sent two emails inquiring about the status of the refund but no response. i have now had to get american express involved, and they have opened a dispute investigation on this retailer. i personally would never shop at this site again.

I purchased a Denon AVR-3805 AV Receiver along with 5 NHT Speakers. I found the prices to be excellent, but even more importantly, I found that the customer service provided by Mike Embers, to be outstanding. I sent several emails prior to and after making my on-line purchase, and each was returned immediately; one was actually returned within less than 5 minutes. After my purchase I was provided with Tracking Numbers in a timely manner and found the product packaging to be very professional, luckily, because I walked out to the UPS truck and saw some of my packages to be strewn across the rear bed area of the van. The driver merely said, "This van has a suspension problem and that's why some of the boxes are thrown about the interior of the van." I will definitely order from www.acousticsounddesign.com again in the future and feel extremely comfortable in referring them to anyone interested in purchasing items they sell.

I purchased 2 Klipsch RS-35 speakers from Acoustic Sound Design and received great service. The price was reasonable (there were LESS creditable places with prices that are a few dollars cheaper) but after reading other customer's reviews I decided on Acoustic Sound Design and I'm glad I did. Delivery was within a week. No problems at all and well worth it.

I ordered a pair of Klipsch RB-35 speakers on 21 February online, and received a prompt general confirmation, followed a few days later by an invoice saying that units were on backorder for 3-4 weeks. They were shipped and charged to my card on 22 March, and arrived on schedule a week later, with UPS tracking message. One carton was missing the set of four stick-on feet, but a message to customer service got a prompt reply saying the feet would be mailed to me, as they were. As the vendor made clear, these units were covered by their warranty, not a factory warranty. As an owner of four earlier pairs of Klipsch speakers, all purchased from an authorized dealer (Audio King), I was a little uneasy to find the serial numbers removed, as well as a page from the owner's manual. However, the price was excellent, and I've never had to invoke a warranty on Klipsch speakers, so the trade-off seemed like a reasonable risk. I am pleased with the speakers, which sound fine in their situation, and I'm pleased with my purchasing experience from Acoustic Sound Design.

I was in a rush to do a custom install for one of my customer and I had to have a critical order of several speakers to arrive by Friday. To my surprise I received the shipment in two days which was one day ahead of the promised delivery date. Thank you Mike! I was a 1st time purchaser of electronic gear online and wasn't sure what to expect. The folks at Acoustic Sound Design were helpful, knowledgeable and had by far the lowest prices on my Polk 6700/505 system. The only negative that I can tell you about is that they are so busy selling systems that they don't have time to return phone calls or answer e-mails. I left 3 phone messages and 2 e-mails - none were returned. But when I did get in touch with them, they were prompt and professional. They answered all my questions, and gave my good suggestions for my home theater system. I would definitely buy from them again.

Wow, very good dealer. Their website is a little lacking, but, note that you can send E-mail requests for pretty much ANY audio product. I sent an Email asking about some speakers, I got a response in about *1 hour* with an offer that was much cheaper than any other online store. Quick shipping too. Will order from them again.

Just received my Klipsch RCR-3 in-ceiling speakers. In total it took about 1.5 months from order to shipment to receipt. When I was inquiring about the speakers they said they had 3 pairs in stock and were ready to ship, but I was delayed a day in ordering and all of a sudden there was a 3-week delay due to "backorder". The customer service was lacking since I wasn't aware of the delay and had to ask what happened to my order. Once I was made aware of the delay then communication seems to improve as I was notified of shipment dates. Overall I would shop here again as you can't beat the prices!

I ordered some surround speakers from Acoustic Sound Design. I went with them because they are a member of the Better Business Bureau. Their price was good (in the middle to best price) and they answered the phone quickly when I called. Mike Embers told me he had the speakers in stock (Klipsch) and that they would go out the next day, they did and I was sent the tracking info for them. I received them as UPS stated and all is great! The speakers are really nice. I would definitely do business with them again, and I plan to. Thanks Mike!

I decided to setup a new home theatre and shopped around for Klipsch (fronts, surrounds and center). I found ASD on the web and they had the lowest prices around. At first I was hesitant spending over $1000 at a company I've never done business with before. I'm glad I took the chance! My ordered shipped the very next day and then emailed my tracking numbers. Multiple orders in the past were very smooth until recent order in November 2003. Tried to order set of speakers (2 front, 2 rear surround, and a center) for a Christmas gift. I believe that the speakers were out of stock, but never told yes or no. After 5 emails and 1 phone call I received a response - order is still processing. After nearly 3 weeks and no speakers, decided to cancel order. This was first bad experience after several orders - won't be a problem in the future as I will not go back to the web site.
