Pros Stable, Safe & Can stay in until 65 pounds
Cons Smaller base tears up your seats & narrow in seat for bigger kids
Recommended it? Yes

We own 2 of the Marathons and 2 of the Regents! We moved our 4 year old into the Regent when baby came. The Regent is a little better for the bigger kids but you certainly don't have to change. We just chose to move her.

There are so many choices for infant car seats.  You can use a convertible seat or choose separate infant and toddler seats.  There are inexpensive ones, while others are pricey enough that frankly, for that price, they should not just keep my kid safe, but change his diapers and do the laundry...
