Pros 6 DVD/CD carousel. Good quality picture and sound.
Cons Cheap looking remote control.

Today is my first day with Onkyo CP701 DVD player. I tried playing MP3s, CDs, DVDs. All of them worked fine.

It played my poor quality MP3 CDs extremely well. I was really impressed with that.

Pros Great pic and sound, easy setup, nice menu system for those who arent HT wizards.
Cons None.
Recommended it? Yes

Upgraded from my Fisher single DVD player, a device I got for free. I matched this player to my Onkyo reciever and HT500 speaker package, and could not be happier. The recievers remote takes care of the whole shebang, so I found no need for the DVD remote once I had it all set up.

I bought this Coby DVD player a few years ago. Actually,it was my first DVD player. For the longest time, I couldn't understand why everyone loved DVD's so much. Pros Cheap piece of junk--which worked long enough for the 90 warranty to expire--
Cons Dies fast. After the warranty, but costs too much to even consider fixing.
Recommended it? No

Bought it cause it was cheap, dumping it in the garbage because it is cheap and became possessed within months by a devil--that plays different tracks on DVDs with extra tracks.
