At less than five pounds with the weight saver in the MultiBay, it can go anywhere with you and get the job done. This model is configured with a 1.8GHz Mobile Pentium 4 processor with Intel SpeedStep technology, a 512KB integrated L2 cache, a 30GB SMART hard drive and 256MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM, expandable to 1024MB. In addition to the two Type II/one Type III CardBus slot(s), it has an 8X (max. speed) DVD-ROM drive and a Mini-PCI V.92 modem + 10/100 TX NIC combo for easy networking. The DVD-ROM drive is housed in the MultiBay and can be swapped out for optional 3.5" floppy drive, CD-ROM, CD-RW, combo drive, SuperDisk LS-120, second battery or second hard drive modules. The 64-bit ATI Mobility Radeon graphics with 32MB DDR SDRAM give you increased color depth and can support internal resolutions up to 1024 x 768 at 16.7 million colors on the 14.1" TFT display.
