Pros Price, numerous features, Compaq name
Cons Somewhat heavy by today's standards, battery life not what I expected.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this notebook after a fair amount of research and assessment of what I actually needed. This computer will be used mainly for surfing the Net, a few games, and several normal applications(such as databases, spreadsheets, etc.). Pros Sleek look, very fast, lots of space, excellent for entertainment
Cons Gets very hot about 20-30 minutes after use, no webcam

So I bought this laptop around May of 2008 and ended up selling it to my sister who still has the laptop to this day. I got an excelletn deal for it paid about 450 for it at Best Buy, and it was great for about a month. After that month, I could never seem to sit the laptop on my lap without it...
