Pros Price, numerous features, Compaq name
Cons Somewhat heavy by today's standards, battery life not what I expected.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this notebook after a fair amount of research and assessment of what I actually needed. This computer will be used mainly for surfing the Net, a few games, and several normal applications(such as databases, spreadsheets, etc.).
