I recently ordered a new IBM ThinkPad R40 and part of the package included IBM's 256MB Memory Key. A month ago, if someone would've asked me what a memory key was, I would've had no idea. Today, I can't imagine not having one.

Pros good price, easy to use, small size, light weight.
Cons afraid I'm gonna lost the cover.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the PNY Attache 256MB because Staples was running a discount + rebate deal that made the price only $10 for me. I had to hassle a little to get the rebate, but in due time I got it.

It comes with a neck strap and a redundant USB cable. You can, of course, plug the key directly... Read full review »

Pros None that I know of. Useless as a boat anchor.
Cons It doesn't work in an unpowered hub.
Recommended it? No

I thought this was a good deal.

Until I found it would not work with an Adaptec AHU-2000 unpowered USB hub, even though nothing else was on the hub. Adaptec said some flash drives use too much power to work on an unpowered hub. PNY support said that the unit was known not work with some... Read full review »
