One Unit Does the Whole House Well

Pros Quiet operation, low cost of operation, whole house cleaning.
Cons Somewhat heavy to move, no built-in timer.

This review is based on two months continuous use of the Oreck AIR4000 air purifier in my home. I will compare it to a Hunter Model 30365 air purifier it replaced.

Pros Noticeably improved air quality and not a bad price.
Cons Cleaning these things is a chore to say the least.
Recommended it? Yes

I have had very bad allergies for about 12 years now, and after repeatedly trying every allergy medication in existence, I saw an ad for the Oreck Air Purifier. I'd been doing some research on the Sharper Image purifiers and was not impressed, with the reviews or the price.

Pros The size, easy to clean and not having to buy filters, its quiet.
Cons The only negative is the Bright green power light, have to cover it at night.
Recommended it? Yes

My husband and I both suffer from allergies, his are seasonal and mine are seasonal but also the usual dust, mold, animal dander etc. We also have two dogs, a golden retriever and a yellow lab.
