The Palm m125 handheld is a great place to start. In no time, you'll be adding thousands of addresses, updating your Date Book and managing your To Do List. When you're ready, you can use the Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard expansion card slot and Palm Universal Connector to extend your handheld to fit your lifestyle. Expansion cards let you carry your favorite games, images, and applications with you. With the installation of the included software, your Palm handheld allows you to access the Internet, browse the Web, communicate with friends, and get the information that you want/need. All you need is a modem or compatible data-enabled mobile phone and an ISP account. Less

The Vista is a rudimentary electronic planner that can store up to 12,000 records. I saw it at an Odd Job discount store on Lexington Ave and it was selling for forteen dolas, so I bought it just to see what it was like. Well, doesn't look like I'll throw away my HP iPaq 1910 Pocket PC any time soon. The Vista is cute and really small and weighs only 1.6 oz with its two watch-type batteries (one for backup), but since you need the keyboard or a PC to input data, it's not convenient. The user interface is more complicated than necessary, although it's not hard to figure things out on your own. If you get lost, the 4-point-font user's guide helps. It also comes with PC sync software although I have not tested it since this is not going to be my main PDA. For me it's more a toy. But I can see my dad using it; in fact I'm buying him the version with a stylus and touch-screen for the same low forten dolas. Less

The new Palm m125 is an odd duck, almost the lovechild of the m105 and the m500. It takes some of the best and worst features of each and combines them into a decent but not spectacular device.

Maintaining the basic look and feel of the m10x series including the small screen and the... Read full review »

About 18 months ago, I bought my first PDA, and I did not skimp either. I bought the most powerful Compaq iPaq on the market at the time. It had a beautifully backlit color screen, played mp3s, and was a gadget-lover?s dream. The only problem was, I never used it. In fact, I now have to send it... Read full review »
