Power hungry? Just pit your wits and your punches against the others, and collect all three power stones on each level. Either find them yourself or beat them out of your opponents, and even the most mild-mannered character will transform into a raging superbeing, capable of crushing attacks and powered-up fighting moves. Power Stone on Dreamcast breaks new ground with its revolutionary game design and mesmerizing 3D worlds. The first of its kind, Power Stone allows its characters to fully interact with their environment like never before. Drop down on your opponents from the ceiling, or swing around a lamp post for added momentum and freeform attack. Grab anything in the room that's not nailed down and hurl it at an opponent. Knock over a bookcase as you make your escape. Fight according to your own style. The ultimate weapon: your imagination. Less

Pros Unique, Fun to Play Multiplayer
Cons POWER STONE 2 is OUT
Recommended it? Yes

When I first played this game down in the local arcade, I was hooked. Capcom has been known for making some of the best fighting games of all time (Examples such as Street Fighter 2 and the many subsequent variations thereof such as Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition, Darkstalkers, Marvel vs... Pros decent graphics; transforming is way too cool
Cons overly simplistic game play; no real 3d
Recommended it? No

Powerstone is the most innovative fighter game to hit the Dreamcast. As with other Capcom games, it takes the violence from a cartoon standpoint. The action is highly simplistic, the moves are easy to learn and perform. Its definitely a good change to see in this genre, but the game itself isn't so... Read full review »

Even more fun than the old Spider-Man platform games

Pros Visually and musically beautiful; Spider-Man's moves are created well; dandy action
Cons Too short; the final level is a needless chore; port of a PS1 game?
Recommended it? Yes

You know, that old theme from the Spider-Man cartoon always bothered me. You know the one. It's famous:

Spider-Man
Spider-Man
Does whatever a spider can

Actually, that little ditty is misleading as hell because Spider-Man can do much more than a common, household... Read full review »

Pros Great graphics and sound - Stan Lee himself narrates
Cons Controls can be awkward, Camera angles a little funky
Recommended it? Yes

Note: Just so that there is no confusion, this review is of the Spiderman game for PlayStation 1, and it came out over a year before the new Spider-Man movie was released. There is a new Spider-Man game for PlayStation 2, but this review is of an older one.

Spiderman for PlayStation is... Read full review »
