Mike LeRoi, once a regular guy, has met with a bizarre fate. He and his family were the victims of a gang driveby and he slipped into a coma, the only survivor. Upon awakening, nothing could prepare him for what he would soon become. His friend Nettie, a voodoo priestess, trained him in the arts of the assassin so he could avenge his family and he became Shadow Man. Now he travels through the living and dead worlds, made even more beautiful by the power of Dreamcast. In Shadow Man, Nettie instructs him on the Liveside, and Jaunty, a top-hat wearing snake, shows him the ropes on the Deadside. He must boost up his powers by bringing down "The Five" in order to go against the biggest evil being of them all, Legion -- who plans to bring about the Apocalypse.
